Now Hiring - 3PL Account Manager in Lakeland, FL

Are you interested in working with the largest asset-based drayage provider in the US? We are seeking an innovative, tenacious Strategic Account Manager to join the team in Lakeland, Florida!

The Logistics Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between our company and key clients. This position will be expected to drive value by understanding our client’s corporate objectives and finding solutions that compliment them. Grow client revenue, maintain positive relationships with existing clients, maintain assigned quotas, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties

• Proactively enhance and maintain relationships with each account; anticipate customer needs, resolve any hurdles, and develop business strategies to capitalize on opportunities
• Prospect new customers using email, cold calls, networking, etc.
• Manage business pipeline, grow revenue, and develop strategy for long term account health
• Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards
• Communicate trends/pricing issues as it relates to accounts/sales
• Develop, implement, and lead the strategy for each assigned account
• Responsible for the success of overall client satisfaction
• Establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Partner with internal stakeholders (i.e. operations) to drive additional value
• Consistently monitor and develop KPIs for each account
• Increase volume with existing accounts through rigorous follow-up and monitoring
• Maintain and or exceed defined quotas for each account

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of 3PL logistics sales and operations experience
• Experience managing clients at high level
• Strong customer sales skills and effective management of key accounts
• Ability to efficiently pivot from one task to another throughout the day
• Data analysis
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Well versed in diverse customer business models
• Team player with ability to influence without authority
• Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
• Ability to effectively pivot from one task to another, while remaining calm under pressure
• Analytical, consultative, and solutions-driven personality
• Proficient in MS Office, emphasis in Excel and strong typing skills
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Project Management (PMP) certification
• Drayage experience
• Six Sigma
• Bilingual, English/Spanish
